About Slam Sanctuary

2013: Slam Sanctuary is founded

Slam Sanctuary was launched in 2013 by Henry, a graphic designer, self-taught photographer and avid petrolhead, as a space to blog his automotive event photography. As the blog posts grew in detail, the brand started to make a name for itself throughout the UK stance car scene.

2014: The first-ever merchandise is released

A few basic logo t-shirts were produced, of which the first few runs sold out straight away. Kickstarting the brands transformation.

2015: Slam Sanctuary transitions into a clothing brand

Henry took the step to end his full-time employment and focus solely on Slam Sanctuary. He sold his cherished BMW 635CSI and used the money to invest in the first full clothing collection and Pop-Up Store, which launched in October 2015 at the Ultimate Stance show. With absolutely no idea how this move would be received, the collection thankfully went down a storm, which led Henry into believing that this could actually work as a business, merging his love for cars and fashion.

2016-2020: The brand continues to grow

The Slam Sanctuary Pop-Up Store traded at numerous UK and European automotive events and the brand continued to grow a global following, documenting some of the most prestigious events and gatherings in Europe, including Wörthersee and Ultrace. Slam Sanctuary released collaboration collections with brands Air Lift Performance, Meguiar's, Pipercross, Kenwood, 3SDM and Revo to name a few.

2020: Slam Sanctuary joins the Car Audio & Security family

Slam Sanctuary was acquired by the industry giant Car Audio & Security in March 2020, allowing the brand to take advantage of their larger business structure & high-scale distribution network. Going forward, the brand fell under the Car Audio & Security umbrella with Henry continuing to develop the business as Creative Manager.

 2023: Henry steps down

In January 2023, the founder Henry Phull stepped down from the brand to pursue other opportunities. With an established in-house team, the brand continues to grow to this day...
