We only recently visited Car Audio & Security (CAS) back in April this year to attend their annual Open Weekend, so to hear that they were opening their doors again a few months later was great news. We always look forward to the laid-back vibe that comes with any CAS event… this time around, they were set to host Air Lift Performance’s Show & Shine BBQ, which promised to present some of the highest quality bagged cars in the UK. Tied with valuable show & shine prizes from sponsors including Meguiar’s, Rotiform, Kenwood, GoPro, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, JL Audio, and ourselves… a BBQ with all the trimmings (completely free of charge – nice touch!), plus, plenty of instore deals as is to be expected from Car Audio & Security, they were on to a winner. It just so happened that the weather was absolutely perfect, too, which meant the turnout was even better than expected. CAS’s premises were completely overrun by modified cars, including the surrounding roads and industrial estate. It was quite a sight! Check out some of our favourite cars from the day below…

Air suspension is more popular than ever before, evidently, it’s become an essential element to any build these days. From practicality, performance, and visual transformation, it’s a no-brainer. Air Lift Performance continue to lead the pack here in the UK and it’s great to see them constantly involved with our car community. They even gave away a complete 3P management system to a lucky winner! The Show & Shine BBQ acted as a perfect opportunity to show how stunning any car can look when slammed on air suspension. Hell, it just makes us want to go out and bag everything and anything! It was also rather refreshing to see that they’d allowed a few static and hydro’d cars into the event too. At the end of the day, this is what car culture should be about – acceptance and respect for everyone. After this year’s successful BBQ, we have a feeling that it’ll be making a return, so keep your eyes peeled in 2018 for details. Big thanks to Car Audio & Security for hosting and inviting us down with our Pop-Up Store. Don’t forget to check out even more photos below in the Bonus Gallery.
